- Dr Melanie Chan
Hi, my name is Dr Melanie Chan and I am proud to lead this vibrant team at Spencer Road Dental Care. An experienced and caring dentist with a particular interest in the management of phobic patients, I graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2001 with honours, and am constantly furthering my education in Dentistry with post-graduate continuing education study.
Being a member of the Australian Dental Association of both Federal and State (W.A) branches, I am also current and competent in Senior First Aid. Married to my wonderful husband Andy, life is never dull at home with our two beautiful daughters Bianca and Jade.
Our team at Spencer Road Dental Care strives to achieve the best possible dental care for each and every one of our valued patients, in a gentle, relaxed, and caring atmosphere. Music and exploring the globe are my lifelong passions, and so are my patients! I look forward to making a change to your perception of dentistry. Take care, and God bless.

Hi, My name is Tanya Gates and I've been working part time for Dr Chan for the past 2 years. I am a fully qualified dental assistant having successfully completed my certificate 4 in dental assisting (radiography) and a certificate 4 in dental assisting (general anaesthesia and conscious anaesthesia) early this year. I am also certified with my senior first aid.

Hi my name is Kristy and I have been the hygienist at Spencer Road Dental Care since early 2004. I thoroughly enjoy the intimate feel of this surgery as we are all close friends here. I have an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene through Curtin University and an Advanced Certificate of Dental Clinic Assisting. I am recently married and looking forward to expanding our family in the future.
- Kylie Brown - Reception
Hi, I'm Kylie Brown and I'm the first friendly face you'll see when you come to visit us at Spencer Road Dental Care. I am the practice manager and receptionist here and have been apart of this wonderful team since January 2007. I really enjoy working and interacting with people each day. I have participated in several seminars for sterilization, practice management and I am also fully certified in senior first aid. I look forward to meeting you soon.
- Rebecca Lynn - Dental Assistant
My name is Rebecca Lynn, in 1999 I completed a certificate in medical reception. In 2001 I then completed my certificate 4 in dental clinic assisting at Wembley Tafe. In 2006 I returned to the dental industry after having my 2 children and have been working at Spencer Road Dental Care since. I, as all other staff at Spencer Road Dental Care are up to date and fully qualified first aid givers.
